Volunteer / Kayak or Paddleboard at Lady Bird Lake Trash Pickup

Join Keep Austin Beautiful for a community trash pickup on Lady Bird Lake. Kayaks and paddleboards will be provided free for those who choose to go out on the lake (supply limited), and shoreline pickup is also needed. Those going on the water MUST be able to swim and wear a personal floation device (PFD) (provided). There is No Lifeguard on Duty. Great for meeting new people and for families with kids (under parent's supervision).

Bring / wear suitable shoes, hat, sunscreen, gloves, water bottle.

You must REGISTER IN ADVANCE at https://www.givepulse.com/shift/5050938 , especially critical if you would like free usage of a kayak or paddleboard. Close parking must be paid using the ParkATX app, however free parking is available as you head toward the Festival Beach Food Forest (25 1/2 Waller St).
