Hey Austin Writers! Austin has some great weekend and evening writer's groups. I have one I go to every Saturday and it jump starts my writing for the week. I'd love to keep that momentum going with writing sessions during the weekday.
I'll be setting up a Tuesday mid-morning (after school drop off) writing session, and a Friday early afternoon (before school pickup) writing session.
We'll socialize and catch up for the first 30 minutes, before doing 25 minute timed writing sprints with a 5 minute break in between.
All are welcome. All genres, fiction. or nonfiction, poetry, novels, or short stories. It's okay to be unpublished, traditionally published, or indie published. Just come meet fellow writers and get words/work on the page!
** You can be working on flash fiction, plotting a book, writing new words, or editing what you've written. You choose what to work on for each 25 minute sprint.
Tuesday writing sessions will be at Panera Bread at 360 and 183 (Near REI) from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Friday writing sessions will be at Emerald Tavern from 12 pm to 3 pm.
