Session Title: Trust and Safety in the Agentic Web: Securing Ecommerce When Buyers, Sellers, and Bots All Use AI Agents

AI agents are transforming ecommerce, helping buyers shop and sellers operate more efficiently. At the same time, they create new trust and safety challenges, from automated fraud and fake reviews to abuse of promotions and return policies.

This session explores how ecommerce platforms can adapt to an agent-driven world by focusing on agent identity, authorization, risk assessment, and human oversight. We’ll discuss emerging fraud patterns and practical approaches for building safer, more trustworthy agentic commerce systems.
