Session Title: Trust and Safety in the Agentic Web: Investigating Fraud, Returns, and Financial Crime When Everyone Uses AI

AI agents are transforming ecommerce, helping buyers shop and sellers operate more efficiently. At the same time, they create new trust and safety challenges — from automated account takeover and returns abuse to promotion fraud and money laundering hidden inside agent-driven transactions.

This session explores how ecommerce and fintech platforms can adapt to an agent-driven world by building smarter investigation pipelines. We'll go beyond detection and focus on the full case lifecycle: how agentic AI can take a fraud, returns, or AML alert from raw signals to a structured, explainable recommendation — with the right humans in the loop at the right moments. We'll discuss emerging fraud patterns, practical architectures for human-supervised agentic investigation, and lessons learned from building these systems in production.
