Event Description:
RWC was founded to create a supportive community where individuals grow in faith and fitness, strengthening both themselves and the city of Austin through the love of Jesus Christ. The vision is to go from isolated to integrated; inspiring growth through faith and fitness. It will be a 5k loop around lady bird lake. You can either run, jog, walk, or just hang back and fellowship! Austin Bouldering Club is a group of mixed skill-level climbers passionate about growing our indoor bouldering skills AND connecting with our community! All skill levels and genders welcome!
We meet at Austin Bouldering Project (Springdale location) from 3-5 pm on Saturdays, and then head to our post-climb social location to meet other climbers! This week, we will be heading to HANDSOME DAN’S
ABC Saturday Schedule:
3:00-3:10 - Meet near the yoga room to the left of the front desk (Stephen will be there!)
3:15pm - Intros & Icebreaker
3:30-4:45pm - Climb!
4:45pm - Group photo at ABP
5:00pm - Head to HANDSOME DAN’S
New to bouldering? Great! We can support you in getting started with the indoor bouldering basics, and we have a great supportive group with lots experience to learn from.
This is a free event to attend, AND you’ll either need your ABP climbing membership or an Austin Bouldering Project day pass ($20ish). If it is your first time, you’ll also need to fill out a waiver (pinned in our group chat!) More info on ABP’s website: https://boulderingproject.com/first-time-visit/. You’ll also need climbing shoes (rentals available through ABP), and chalk is recommended!
