Event Description:
🚲 END THE WEEKEND ON YOUR BIKE!
Join us as we briefly view art in public places, while cruising central Austin streets on quiet streets and trails every Sunday evening.
📍 Meet At: Mueller Airport Hangar Parking Lot
🕕 Wheels Down: Sunday at 6pm
📏 Distance: 12-15 miles
🥪 Ending At: Somewhere with food!
We meet up in the parking lot on the west side of Browning/Mueller Airport Hangar (between Airport Blvd and the Hangar) 15 minutes before the start.
Bike Curious Sunday is a Social Cycling Austin bicycle ride cruising central Austin streets every Sunday evening. We meet up in the parking lot on the west side of Browning Hangar (between Airport Blvd and the Hangar). All skills levels are welcomed. Our mission is to get more people curious about cycling to get their "Butts on Bikes!"
Our start time adjusts seasonally, anytime from 5pm to 7pm.
Currently we meet at 4:45ish PM with wheels down at 5:00 PM.
This is a no drop ride, meaning everyone sticks together, and no one gets left behind. At least we try!
Bring our lights, locks, water, ID, money for food and drinks, and your friends.
REMINDER: The goal has always been to create a safe environment for all riders, but we cannot control, nor do we desire to, every rider's behavior. We promote personal responsibility, and it is each rider's responsibility to take care of themselves, and if they choose to ride with us, then they accept those risks inherent in riding a bicycle with a large group of other people riding bicycles.
