GenX Lavender Girls will experience the fierce rivalries, the thrill of the bout, and the speed of a whip. We'll meet as a group on Sun AUG 31st at Palmer Events Center at 5:30PM and go in to enjoy the Texas Roller Derby - Cavello Cup Championship - Cherry Bombs vs. Rhinestones! OPTIONAL PRE-MEET AT EL ALMA - BARTON SPRINGS - If you'd like to meet up before the event for food+drink, starting at 4PM, I'll have a table on the patio at El ALMA 1025 Barton Springs Rd which is across the street from the Roller Derby venue. I'll reach out via Comments as we get closer to the event date about this.

An Austin original, TXRD is a unique blend of camp and athleticism. Their own brand of banked track roller derby might be one of the most entertaining sport in the world. TXRD skaters train hard and work tirelessly to improve skills and agility on the track. These women are spunky by nature and they fight sometimes…okay, they fight a lot.
