Spend a morning with the Austin Vegan Association at Central Texas Pig Rescue, a sanctuary that’s home to more than 200 rescued animals. Lend a hand with some outdoor projects, meet the residents, and spend time with fellow animal lovers. 💚

No experience needed. There are jobs for every ability level, and the sanctuary’s team will guide us.
👟 Dress for dirt: closed-toe shoes, clothes you don’t mind getting muddy, a hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle.
🥕 Bringing treats? The sanctuary welcomes fresh produce for the animals. Check the Eventbrite page for what’s best to bring, and skip the stickers and plastic bags!
