Art and Parks at Mueller

Mueller is a planned community on the former site of the Robert Mueller Municipal Airport. Mueller is a model for responsible urban planning and development and has resulted in a community that is compact and pedestrian-scaled, supportive of transit, and compatible with the surrounding fabric of single-family neighborhoods.

Park at the Salvation Army, 4700 Manor Rd, Austin, TX 78723 and walk 120 yards to the Start/Finish at the Gaylord Sackler Memorial Skate Park, just behind the Salvation Army Building. We'll meet at the American Volkssport Association (AVA) sign-in table. They charge a $4 fee. We'll walk 5K, or just over 3 miles, through parks and interesting public art.

I'll look for a brunch location for any of us who are interested. I'll post it later so you can check back to let us know if you plan to go. Recommendations are welcome.
