Hike the Violet Crown Trail South from W Slaughter Lane

This trail is an extension of the Violet Crown Trail. It was recently improved and is now a wide, flat mostly gravel trail. Most of the trail is through the woods and is shady. It follows a path between Slaughter Creek and the Veloway. Let's meet at Walgreens, on the east side of the building away from the front door. We'll hike about 4 miles in 1.5-2 hours, to the Wildflower Center and back.
