Walk and visit historic homes during the Hyde Park Homes Tour

We love to walk in this shady historic neighborhood. The annual Hyde Park Homes Tour gives us a chance to learn about the history of the neighborhood and tour inside some of the homes that make Hyde Park unique. This year's tour includes six historic homes and is called Bungalows and Beyond.

You can get more information and buy an advance ticket for $20 at https://www.austinhydepark.org/2025homestour, or pay $25 and get a ticket at Trinity Church (4001 Speedway), where the tour begins, on the day of the tour.

We will walk a mile or two through the neighborhood to visit all six homes, so it will take about two to two and a half hours, depending on how crowded it is. Wear good shoes for walking and bring water. And please consider if you are in shape for this activity out of consideration for yourself and others.
