What we’re about
Our mission is to make as many shorts (ideally hundreds) as we can from individual scenes taken from full-length or short scripts. If you wish to participate, be it as an actor, editor, writer etc. please join us and attend one of our meetings to find out more.
We actually spend significant money and time preparing our meetups, so anyone who says they will attend and then does not attend and does not let us know they can not make it will be removed from the group, but can rejoin if they so wish. If you do this twice then unfortunately you will get banned.
Our group is also an open network where Actors and Writers can share ideas and opportunities to practice their skills with each other on a regular basis to either build skills they don't currently have or to improve on skills they've worked on before.
If you've ever thought you could be an actor, writer or producer, or have wondered about getting started by learning from others, or are looking to share ideas and opportunities to develop a business community network with education, housing and professional training for actors, writers and producers, please join and attend our meetings!
Team coordinators include P.O.W. of Austin Media and Literacy Institute, writers from Worth1000 contests, Emily Nghiem and Jeffrey Wax of Houston, who looking to create an educational and professional track for theatre/film actors/producers/writers in Houston, Austin and statewide throughout Texas and linking nationwide (similar to Broadway in NY and Hollywood in CA).
