Hyperledger 2020 Update w/ Climate Action and Accounting Special Interest Group

Join us in our FIRST VIRTUAL Meetup. We have a very exciting lineup of experts from Hyperledger that will be sharing their update for 2020 along with some insight into how Hyperledger is being applied to fight climate change. We will also be raffling off $75 to the Hyperledger store for goodies that can be purchased there. A little bit about our speakers:

David Boswell is one of the Directors of Ecosystem at Hyperledger and has over 20 years of experience with open source communities. He'll be presenting an update on what has happened in the Hyperledger community so far in 2020.

Tom Baumann (www.linkedin.com/in/tombaumann) has over 20 years experience at the rapidly evolving confluence of sustainability and innovation. He has worked with hundreds of organizations in the climate, cleantech and sustainability space. Since 2007, Tom has launched 7 startups and has led many multi-stakeholder global initiatives. Tom is a globally recognized authority in the digital and sustainability space and was recognized in 2019 as a Top 100 Fintech for SDG Influencer.

Martin Wainstein is a research scientist in the climate and energy transition and a serial social entrepreneur. He heads the Yale Openlab as a resident fellow at the Center for Business & the Environment at Yale and is a project director at the Digital Currency Initiative of the MIT Media Lab. He hold a PhD from the University of Melbourne focusing on the transformation of the global energy business system. Martin is the co-chair of the Hyperledger Climate Action & Accounting Special Interest Group, and advisor to the Spatial Web Foundation and several other organizations.
