A play-by-ear Scottish fiddle workshop with Highland-born musician Colin MacLeod — no sheet music, no notation, just you, your instrument, and your ears.
🎻 Beginners · 6:15–7:15pm
Learn a Scottish tune step by step entirely by ear. Kate Walker of the Austin Scottish Country Dance Society will be joining us to play whistle and teach a dance step during this session.
🎻 Intermediate-Advanced · 7:30–9:00pm
Deepen your technique, then close the evening playing live for Scottish Country dancers. Kate will bring dancers from the Austin Scottish Country Dance Society to join us.
