Title: Modern Authentication with WebAuthn
Abstract: More websites are giving us the option to get rid of passwords and use Passkeys instead. In this talk, you will learn about the Webauthn authentication standard and Passkeys. You will also get to see WebAuthn in action with a demo Ruby on Rails project.
Bio: Jade Philippe is a software engineer from Canada. After working as an engineer in the construction industry, she began her career in tech in 2023. She loves the Ruby and Rails community and likes to give back by contributing to open-source projects through Ruby for Good.
