A Lesson from the Trees: The Power of Present, A Flute Journey

We often talk about being present, but how often do we feel it?
Most of us move through the day slightly ahead of ourselves, caught in thoughts of what’s next or tangled in memories of the past. Over time, this pulls us out of the now, throws off our nervous system, and creates tension in the body and spirit.

The trees offer us another way.

One of the greatest gifts trees share with us is the ability to teach us the value of presence. However, this gift may not arrive as you expect. Trees speak through emotion, through subtle shifts in our energy. When they guide us into presence, they’re helping us be more aligned, energetically. And in doing so, they gently help balance our nervous system.

I invite you to come and learn about what might be pulling your body and spirit out of the present, and to listen for the quiet teachings waiting beneath your feet.
