Acknowledging the Seeds We Plant: Journey Circle at Flow Yoga Westgate
Hosted by Nate Long "Owl"
UPDATE: With the recent flooding in Central Texas, we will be working with our amazing group energy to create our own "seeds" of prayer to bring relief and compassion to the tragedy-stricken people and lands, and to honor the power of the thunder-beings.
In this journey, you are invited to recognize that we are always planting seeds—through our presence, our practice, and the ways we show up in the world—even when we don’t realize it. Some grow quietly beneath the surface, while others reach visibly toward the light, each carrying its own kind of power. By honoring all that we’ve sown, without comparison or judgment, we reconnect with the quiet impact of our path and the shared intention that unites us.
This circle and journey is designed to take you deeper: spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally. Each month we will explore, together, a new idea, a new practice, and a new focus.

This Circle is for anyone interested in shamanic practice. Shamanism is not a religion or a dogma. It is not dependent on any particular organizational structure or belief system, but is a practical world view based on ancient understanding of the relationships between humans and nature or Spirit. The shamanic perspective on life and living is extremely relevant to the challenges and concerns of our modern world and ordinary life experiences, and is compatible with all religious and spiritual beliefs.
We would also like to offer some resources that should be helpful to you. Please do take advantage of them when you need to. They are free to download here: http://bit.ly/spi_resources.
Also, be sure to join the email list in order to be informed of other news and opportunities, as well as the SCA Website at www.ShamanicCommunityAustin.com.
We hope that you are doing well. Please remember to rest and take care of yourself, and to be kind to others.
All the best. Be safe and well!

New to the Circle or the Shamanic Journey?
One of our more experienced members will be glad to visit with you. Another great resource is the $2.99 Kindle book, The Shamanic Journey: A Beginner’s Guide to Journeying.
What do you bring with you?
In addition to curiosity and willingness to explore something new, bring a journal or notebook with you to record your journey and the insights that you receive. If you have a hand drum, feel free to bring it, but it is not necessary.
