Attitude of Gratitude Shamanic Circle
Hosted by John Burgess
In our Circle tonight, we will explore Gratitude as more than a feeling, but as a way of being —a bridge that connects us to the Earth, to the flow of life, and each other
“ An attitude of gratitude will have far greater reach than any material expenditure or investment in any marketplace! “
“ Once the heart opens in appreciation and gratitude, pathways of connection between the individual, personal heart, and the infinite heart of the One can flow more openly and bless all of creation on levels that the human mind cannot yet understand.”
“ Be simple in your stance, be open in your dance, graceful in your speech, and be overflowing in gratitude and compassion, and then watch the flow of Grace unfold before your eyes.”
“ Once you touch the true seat of gratitude and feel the essence of that vibration in the core of your heart, know that you are touching and feeling one flavor of the breath and heartbeat of Spirit, that is inseparable from the core of who you really are! “
“Quiet your mind, open your heart, and melt into the arms of the embrace of this infinite love sitting at the center of your Inner Heart.”
“ Know that this is your birthright, your unwavering gift from God, and your treasure to share openly in your world, and with all beings, and the Universe. For when you do, the Heavens rejoice! “

This Circle is for anyone interested in shamanic practice. Shamanism is not a religion or a dogma. It is not dependent on any particular organizational structure or belief system, but is a practical world view based on ancient understanding of the relationships between humans and nature or Spirit. The shamanic perspective on life and living is extremely relevant to the challenges and concerns of our modern world and ordinary life experiences, and is compatible with all religious and spiritual beliefs.
We would also like to offer some resources that should be helpful to you. Please do take advantage of them when you need to. They are free to download here: http://bit.ly/spi_resources.

What do you bring with you?
In addition to curiosity and willingness to explore something new, bring a journal or notebook with you to record your journey and the insights that you receive. If you have a hand drum, feel free to bring it, but it is not necessary.
