Spring Campout Cancelled:
After much discussion and careful consideration, we have decided to cancel this weekend’s Spring Gathering at Hamilton Pool Farms.

Over the past several days, the weather forecasts have shifted back and forth quite a bit, with continued uncertainty around rain, muddy conditions, and scattered thunderstorms throughout the weekend. While the weather may still clear at times, the unpredictability, combined with concerns around setup conditions, comfort, and overall community safety, led us to feel that cancelling is the most responsible decision at this time.

We felt it to be best to pause, regroup, and save the energy, planning, and programming for a future gathering when more of the community can fully participate and enjoy the experience together.

We know many people were looking forward to this gathering, and we deeply appreciate everyone who contributed time, planning, supplies, and support in preparation for the weekend.

The good news is that this is not a cancellation without intention, we are already discussing alternative dates and future opportunities to gather together on the land.

Thank you all for your understanding, flexibility, and continued support of this community. We look forward to gathering with you soon.

2026 Spring Gathering with the Shamanic Community of Austin at Hamilton Pool Farms | May 9–10

Our shamanic community is coming together at Hamilton Pool Farms and Vineyard for our annual Spring Gathering, and you’re invited.

We’ll spend the day rooted in connection, practice, and honoring this thing we are blessed to be a part of called Life.

Set-up begins at 10:00 AM for those who want to arrive early and be part of creating the space. If you’re joining later, we’ll officially begin around noon.

The day will unfold naturally. In the afternoon, we’ll move into creative and grounding yet expansive shamanic practices/experiences. We’ll share a meal together in the early evening, and as night falls, we’ll gather around the fire for circle.

Camping is welcome Saturday night.

What to bring:

  • A drum (if you have one)
  • Blankets or something comfortable to sit on
  • A potluck contribution to pair with vegetarian tacos (provided)

This is a space for connection, presence, and shared experience - simple, real, and alive

Come as you are. Stay for what calls you. We look forward to seeing you!

A few important guidelines:

  • We’re asking for a $25 donation to help cover costs.
  • Please RSVP - planning for a specific headcount is very helpful
  • This is outdoors ... so plan what you bring accordingly
  • This is a family-friendly event; children are VERY welcome
  • This is a no-pets event ... sorry
  • This is an alcohol/drug-free event. Please respect the sacredness of Circle and other attendees. SCA does not use or promote the uses of Shamanic Teacher Plants to enhance the journey experience. Please understand and respect our policy
  • This is a fun and safe event for everyone. Please familiarize yourself with the community Code of Conduct
