UPDATE...

Hi everyone - an update from Professor Delaney below on the topic of his presentation for Wednesday night.

Look forward to seeing everyone, and if possible please help us out by purchasing drinks/food upstairs in the venue room (as it counts towards the cost of our venue for the night).

All welcome. Feel free to pass on and check out Liam's blog at:

"Professor Delaney will speak about the development of behavioural approaches to public policy and in particular the implications they have for financial regulation and related areas. Behavioural science has brought a huge array of new insights to public policy and also brings a range of new complex questions in particular about how businesses, regulators and consumers interact in the market. Professor Delaney's talk will outline the key ideas from the behavioural literature and work through some key examples where they have been applied in real-world policy and business contexts. Finally, he will discuss what potential future directions the interaction between behavioural economics, policy and business might take and the implications of this for people working in business, policy and regulation".
