Join us for a transformative 4-week immersion workshop in Authentic Relating and practice of deeper listening, designed to enhance your experience of intimacy and aliveness within connection, and cultivate the embodied skills required to navigating deep connections. Each week, we will explore themes, including self-awareness, vulnerability, empathy, and artful communication. Through experiential learning, group discussions, in a supportive environment, you will learn be able to practice "active listening", express yourself authentically, and cultivate more meaningful exchanges.
There will also be a deeper dive into the practice of artful reflecting and responding to others, and how to respond to someone’s sharing in such a way that makes them feel seen while expresses the core of what you wanted to share. This is an ongoing process of learning these skills, but we will be covering some of the core foundations of this skill, through discussion and practice.
There will be a strong emphasis on slowing down, tuning into the body, and allowing the habitual communication patterns to relax, while organically giving space for the novelty of spontaneous truths to be spoken and revealed. Having a closed group of participant and journeying over 4 x 3 hour classes, over 4 weeks, will allow for a new level of depth and practice to extend and expand your capacity for more aliveness and more realness. This is a workshop for people who seek for more depth in their relating, for those who have a curiosity that calls them forward into the mystery of life.
The workshops will consist of core authentic relating practices, but with the continuation of participants and familiarity it will allow for greater depth, nervous system regulation and greater sense of safety. Due to the increase depth and containment of the longer duration, there will be the scope to run practices that are not usually viable to run at one-off events.
If this sounds like something you want to explore, I look forward to sharing the space with you and others. If you have any questions, please reach out.
What is Authentic Relating?
Authentic Relating is a practice of expressing your true experience in real time, with openness and empathy, to foster deeper human connection. It’s about showing up as you are—vulnerable, curious, and present—and inviting others to do the same. Rather than relying on social scripts or surface-level conversation, it encourages meaningful dialogue rooted in emotional honesty and mutual understanding.
At its core, authentic relating is both a set of skills and a way of being. It helps people move beyond isolation and into relationships that feel nourishing and real—whether with friends, partners, coworkers, or strangers. Through structured games, intentional listening, and shared reflection, participants learn to navigate conflict, reveal hidden truths, and co-create spaces where everyone feels seen and valued.
It’s not therapy, and it’s not performance—it’s a living art of connection.
Who is this event for? Do I need experience with Authentic Relating to attend?
This event is designed for individuals who are already familiar with conscious spaces and have begun their journey of personal development. It’s not intended for complete beginners. While prior experience with Authentic Relating (AR) isn’t required, it’s important that participants have engaged with other psychological or self-awareness practices. These might include therapy, non-violent communication, talking circles, women’s or men’s groups, regular meditation, or deep personal reflection.
We emphasize this because one of the core functions of AR is to bring people into the present moment—where emotions and sensations naturally rise to the surface. Being in a conscious space, where others are deeply attuned to you, can feel unsettling at times. Whilst I facilitate the events in the most non pressured way possible, it can be common for some people to feel a lot of pressure to “do it right” to appear like they’re got things “all together”. For some, receiving that attunement feels profoundly nourishing—like something their soul has been quietly craving. And at different moments it can feel clunky and awkward and vulnerable for everyone who participates. It’s all a part of it.
Looking forward to journeying with you!
