Authentic Relating Games - Evenings in the City
Details
Hello AR Denver! Weeknights resume every fourth Tuesday-ish! This time, on Wednesday!
Please join us for Authentic Relating Games during the week! If you are ready to explore the practice of authentic relating and make new friends in the process, then join us for our almost-monthly weeknight Authentic Relating Games.
In this session, we’ll explore being seen, heard, and held through a mix of interactive exercises - some more verbal, some more somatic (body-based), and some relational. All games are optional - participate to your own comfort level.
WHEN?
Wednesday July 22nd - 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
WHERE? East Denver Vineyard Church, 1580 N Gaylord St
Please enter the church building on the north side off of 16th Avenue. There is a door by the alley way, and once you enter, proceed right and through the doors towards the room we meet in.
AUTHENTIC RELATING GAMES
Authentic Relating is the practice of being with what is, together. We strive to connect to our inner truth and reveal it to others, while also holding space for other's truth in the process.
Authentic Relating Games are facilitated activities and exercises we participate in together to drop into the space of connection and practice our relating skills. Not only are the games connecting, but they are fun! By the end, you will feel more empowered by relationships, and you may even make a new friend!
What to expect?
We will provide a supportive structure used to create a group context around:
- Slowing down
- Expanding our awareness in our body, mind, emotions
- Welcoming everything
- Checking our assumptions
- Revealing our experiences
- Owning our experiences
- Honoring ourselves and others
The result?
— Expanded relational awareness
— Deeper, more meaningful and intimate connections with self and others
— The potential to begin shifting lifelong relational patterns and blocks
All instructions and prompts will be provided; no experience necessary. This workshop is perfect for those new to AR as well as the well-seasoned.

ABOUT THE HOSTS
Guy Ganani has practiced Authentic Relating since 2021 and facilitated since 2023. He's volunteered as peer support at Burning Man, and as a regional Ranger offering conflict de-escalation and mediation. He can often be found teaching skiing or snuggling his two cats.
Sean Thompson enjoys doing improv comedy because it's collaborative, spontaneous, and forces him to truly listen to others in order to be of any benefit to the scene. He has a "nobody left behind" mentality and is eager to take on more leadership roles.
