We often hear how difficult it can be to make new friends as an adult and even more so when living abroad. The absence of genuine connections can sometimes leave us feeling a little lonely or lacking a sense of belonging - negatively impacting our mental wellbeing. On the other hand, many social events can leave us tired of repeatedly answering to "Where are you from?, "What do you do?", etc over and over again.
Hence Authentic You Me is on a social mission to create a space that not only stimulates authentic connection beyond the small talk; but to tackle the challenges of feeling truly connected in a place that is far from home / used to be home. Let's fight this together!
