PAUSE Events are for non-speaking, intellectually disabled, and/or high-support needs Autistic adults. You are welcome to bring a family member, friend, mentor, or aide to this event!

For this event, we will be making collage animals. A collage is a piece of artwork created by gluing different materials such as construction paper, newspaper, and photographs, to a larger sheet of paper. We will be using different images/shapes to create our favorite animals!

The goal of this event is to make collage portraits that represent us and our personality. Like all PAUSE events, this is a relaxed activity. Attendees are not expected to follow any specific instructions and encouraged to create something that represents themself. All materials will be provided for this event!

At PAUSE events, members are welcome to bring a family member, aide, or caretaker to accompany them at events. Non-Autistic adults are also welcome to sign up for an Autistic member. If you are registering for an Autistic adult, please be sure to include a plus 1 with your RSVP!

We kindly request that members with low-support needs refrain from RSVPing to keep the priority of PAUSE events towards intellectually disabled, non-speaking, and high-needs individuals. Read more here about PAUSE.
