What we’re about
The purpose of this group is to:
1. Connect with other adults with autism in the upper valley.
2. Engage in special interests together in person or online
3. Create sensory-friendly environments to connect and meet each other (stimming encouraged).
4. To decrease sense of isolation.
Group Rules:
1. Be kind and courteous.
2. Zero tolerance for hate speech/bullying.
3. LGBTQIA and non-binary participants are highly welcomed!
4. Self-diagnosis is considered valid.
5. Posts regarding ABA and curative treatment are not supported.
6. This is designed as a safe space for autistic adults both self diagnosed and diagnosed by health professionals. Parents of autistic children are welcome to explore support groups more specific to their needs.
7. Consider use of trigger warning and content warning prior to posting, particularly if posting pictures or videos.
