Have you ever seen a badger sett?
Or heard Ireland's largest crow species, the raven, make it's loud guttural call?

If not, and you want to experience the above and more in Dublin's second largest park, St. Anne's Park - then come along.

Join myself, Sean, for a free, nature-based tour of St. Anne's Park. I will show you some of the wonders of nature in this city park.

There is plenty to see.

The tour will also include a small part of the world famous Bird Reserve - Bull Island, where we will be able to observe some of the 25,000 birds that overwinter throughout Bull Island.

This relaxed, slow-paced walk will open your eyes to the often under appreciated urban wildlife of Dublin City.

We do allow members to bring along one guest - as long as the guest is autistic.

Join us for a wonderful nature walk.

First, we walk Killiney Hill - with it's rich blend of nature and beautiful, far-reaching views of the coastline.

Then we make our way to the beach to briefly explore some of the rock pool wildlife...such as dog whelks, mussels, limpets, periwinkles as well as becoming familiar with Irish seaweed species.

After a rest on the beach, we slowly make our way back to where we started - Killiney Hill Car park - where there is the option to part ways or meet up in a nearby cafe for a catch up.

I will be offering various snippets of information about the local wildlife and wild plants - but this is very much a relaxed-paced walk, where it's okay to walk quietly and/or socialise.

Like all our walks we are limited to a max of ten members so please reserve a spot early.

However, members are allowed to bring one guest to our meetups - provided the guest is autistic.

If a member can't get a spot and we're booked out - please put yourself on the waiting list.

Did you know that Bull Island is one of Ireland's most important nature reserve and it's only 8km from Dublin City centre?

The main reason why Bull Island is so important is because of the huge overwintering population of duck, geese and wader species that use Bull Island as an essential food-rich habitat during the lean months of winter.

Join me on a walk of Bull Island.

On this tour you'll get familiar with:

1. Dune ecology: what makes a dune a dune?

2. The wild plants of Bull Island dune system, including edible & medicinal wild plants.

3. Some of the key identification features of the bird species we will see on the day on Bull Island - including the iconic Brent Geese.

This tour is free. Please reserve a spot early to avoid disappointment.

Public transport options from Dublin City to Bull Island will also be coming soon.
