While Rumi is one of the most beloved poets in the world, most of us have never truly heard his voice but rather translations of translations.

To encounter Rumi in his native Persian is to awaken to an entirely different depth of presence, intimacy, and love — an energy that is ultimately rooted in the Divine Feminine.

If this calls to you, join us this Thursday, September 18, for a free online event with spiritual embodiment teacher and sacred dancer Banafsheh Sayyad, Sacred Dance to Embody the Feminine Path of Creation: Original Translations of Rumi on the Energetics of Love, where you’ll be invited into the living energy of Rumi’s poetry as Banafsheh reads his words in Persian and shares direct translations in English.

She’ll then guide us to embody the love and wisdom of Rumi’s poetry as prayer through a sacred dance practice that you can return to as needed to ground and center yourself when facing stress, challenges, or uncertainty.

Rumi’s poetry flowed through him while whirling, or Sama, as he surrendered his ego, merged with the Beloved, and became a channel for love.

Banafsheh will share how we, too, can access this place of divine love flow — a path of feminine creation that empowers us to remain aligned to what we love regardless of what’s happening in our lives. And, to be a vessel for birthing love into the world in our own unique ways.
