We're excited to announce that AWE Nite SF will be back LIVE & IN PERSON at Niantic's offices in San Francisco to explore one of latest advancements in 3D and AR: Gaussian splats.

In this interactive event, you’ll discover how Niantic Studio and Niantic Scaniverse work together to bridge the gap between the digital and physical world. Discover how to capture and integrate Gaussian splats into immersive WebXR experiences, adding entirely new dimensions to your creative projects.

In this session, you’ll dive deep into using Niantic Scaniverse to capture the world around you with Gaussian splats and harness the power of Niantic Studio to design and build your first splat-based WebXR experience.

Amanda Whitt, Group Product Manager at Niantic, will show you how Niantic Scaniverse and Studio make it easy to capture, create, and bring your ideas to life.

George Butler, Developer Support Engineer, for a live walkthrough of building your first splat-powered XR experience—perfect for both newcomers and seasoned developers.

HOW TO ATTEND
Time: Doors open at 5;30 pm. Presentation starts at 6, event wraps at 7;45 pm, doors close by 8 pm.

Arrivals: Niantic requires folks to pre-register on Meetup and will be checking names at the door.

When you arrive at the Ferry Building:
1. Enter through the security entrance to the left of the Stairs at the Market St/Embarcadero intersection
2. Tell Security you're here for the AWE event at Niantic
3. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor, then turn left and head to Suite 200.
4. Once there, ring the doorbell to check in with our reception team.
