🎬Nederland Film Night: The Casual Enormity of Adam Palmer

🎬 Join our group this Thursday evening in Nederland for an inspiring Colorado-made documentary about how one person can create a powerful ripple effect across an entire mountain community.

Adam Palmer was an outdoor adventurer, musician, family man, elected leader, and sustainability champion who helped advance clean energy, trails, housing, and community action across Colorado.

Adam also served for 12 years on the Holy Cross Energy Board of Directors, helping guide the member-owned cooperative toward a cleaner and more community-centered energy future.

His vision lives on in Holy Cross Energy’s remarkable progress: approximately 90% renewable energy in 2025 and a 100% renewable monthly average in March 2026—while continuing to provide reliable power at rates among the lowest in Colorado.

Holy Cross Energy is showing mountain communities across America what a locally owned electric cooperative can accomplish.

Through stories from the people who knew Adam, the film explores what becomes possible when someone brings optimism, persistence, and people together.

A conversation with local sustainability leaders will follow the screening.
