## Having fun with Serverless in AWS

Taking a simple dataset, we explore the serverless compute world of AWS. We create an application that combines Fargate containers, Lambda functions and Glue jobs which are all coordinated by a Step Function. The dataset will be enriched and transformed to finally end up in S3 and performing some basic analytics tasks utilizing Athena. Step by step we will integrate these different services, ending in a working application that is demoed to the audience.

Improving security often feels like going down the rabbit hole or getting lost in a forest. Although some people actually like spending time on security, life should be easy. As always, automation is key to scalability! We’ll review some tools, config rules and lambda functions used to quickly improve security and do basic incident response.
