AWSUG Meetup at Wehkamp HQ Zwolle (cohosted by Oblivion Cloud Control) about Innovation on and with AWS. This evening we have three speakers which will share their innovative workloads and architectures on AWS. This evening we will touch a variety of AWS Services. In the age of digital transformation it is interesting to hear how one of the oldest e-commerce companies in The Netherlands transformed itself into a modern, dynamic, data drive company using AWS. Having data is one thing but effectively using this data is a different story. What did Wehkamp do what is needed to enable its employees to use the data available and get insights based on this data.

Using AWS as it’s cloud platform, the municipality of Nijmegen enables its residents to use the IRMA application (I Reveal My own Attributes) which controls what kind of information residents share and, more important, do not share. Bram talks about the vision and idea of IRMA and its inner workings. How is IRMA implemented on the AWS platform and what services are used (for instance AWS Fargate, AWS ECS, CodeCommit and EFS).
