We're back for our April event! We're also in our usual venue at NAB and hopefully everyone can come along. We're aware it's the night before a public holiday and potential long weekend, but what better way to start your time off than attending this meetup?
Right now, we've got one awesome talk by Olga Shabalina about the power of Serverless Data Pipelines. We're still looking for a second speaker, but otherwise we'll have a discussion about takeaways about the recent Sydney Summit.
As a reminder, we will start with the food and socialising at 6 pm, but the actual contents of the meetup (and live stream) will begin at 6:30.

# From Inbox to Insights: Power of Serverless Data Pipelines

We're going to explore how an email attachment can be transformed into actionable data published to Kafka using a serverless pipeline. We'll discuss the three key components of this pipeline and how they work together: receiver, processor and publisher. Along the way, we'll see why using a serverless setup can be a big win, making things easier to manage and scale. I'll be walking through the tools like SES for handling emails, SNS and SQS as triggers, Lambda for running code, S3 for object storage, DynamoDB for storing errors, and MSK for streaming data.
