In this hands-on workshop, we'll guide you through deploying and configuring a web server on AWS using Linux and Nginx. You'll learn essential Linux commands for navigating cloud instances, how to securely connect to remote servers via SSH, and how to configure Nginx as a web server and reverse proxy. We'll cover important security considerations including UFW firewall configuration and AWS Security Groups. Through practical exercises, you'll provision an EC2 instance, install and configure Nginx, troubleshoot common deployment issues, and learn to serve both static content and proxy requests to backend services.
