Welcome to the AWS Cloud Club at UCI! ☁️

Our goal is to help students learn about the AWS Cloud and its real-world use cases across security, artificial intelligence, business analytics, and digital business transformation. Through workshops, events, and hands-on AWS projects, members gain both technical and business knowledge while building industry skills that are in high demand.

We also explore how cloud technologies accelerate innovation and transform modern organizations, preparing students for careers in today’s cloud-driven world.

Introduction to the AWS Cloud – Kickoff Event

Join the AWS Cloud Club at UCI for our first kickoff session, designed to introduce students to cloud computing and the AWS ecosystem. We’ll begin with a fun interactive Kahoot warm-up quiz, followed by an overview of AWS Cloud Clubs, member benefits, and upcoming events.

During the session, you’ll learn the fundamentals of cloud computing, including key characteristics, real-world benefits, and how modern applications run in the cloud. We’ll also provide a guided introduction to Amazon Web Services (AWS), covering core service categories such as compute, storage, databases, and networking.

The event will conclude with an open Q&A, a chance to connect with the community, and instructions on how to join the club and stay involved in future workshops, projects, and cloud-focused opportunities.
