What we’re about
The Auckland Amazon Web Services Community is a group dedicated to cloud services provided by Amazon. Because we are specific to Amazon Web Services (AWS), we can go deep into some of the technical services provided by AWS and get some really great insights into how their services work.
This group is for beginner's, pro's and everything in between we will be tackling basic concepts, technical breakdowns and user stories.
If you want to put your application in the cloud and have already chosen AWS, or if you already have applications in the AWS cloud, then this is a great group to get helpful insights and advice from other group members. Also we would love to invite you to speak if you're interested in sharing some of your experiences.
The Auckland AWS Community is all about AWS, so if you want to fast track your network and skills with AWS then this is the group for you.

An Introduction to AWS Systems Manager for Org-Wide SolutionsThis session will introduce solutions provided by AWS Systems Manager. It will also dive into architecture patterns to provide cross-account/ organisation-wide support for AWS Systems Manager within your cloud solutions.
The patterns introduced will contain solutions provided by AWS out-of-the-box, as well as custom-built architecture, and will debate the pros and cons of both options. This talk will specifically discuss solutions like patching and running automations across your machines.

Hitarth has been using AWS for over 5 years and has built solutions for all kinds of businesses. He loves to engage with the community so he can learn from, and build solutions relevant to the NZ industry. Additionally, Hitarth holds 12x AWS Certs and holds 1 of ~10 ‘Golden Jackets' in New Zealand. Outside of work he likes to swim, scuba dive and is an avid fan of ARPG games.Venue Location:
