Kubernetes Optimization using Karpenter

What is Karpenter? Karpenter simplifies Kubernetes infrastructure with the right nodes at the right time. Karpenter automatically launches just the right compute resources to handle your cluster’s applications. It is designed to let you take full advantage of the cloud with fast and simple compute provisioning for Kubernetes clusters. Please join us to learn more about this open-source, flexible, high-performance Kubernetes cluster autoscaler. In this 90 minute session, we will give you an overview of how Karpenter quickly and efficiently scales your nodes to meet your computing needs, as well as how it consolidates them to help you save money. We will provide a demo and QA session followed by a happy hour.

Location information: To find us, park near Union Station (either in garage parking or street parking). Head up to the fifth floor of 1515 Wynkoop using the elevators at the end of the 1st floor lobby. There will be a set of elevators on the right prior to this elevator bank. Do not use these, they are for the parking garage. Once on the 5th floor, check in w/ reception and head straight through the lobby to the classrooms located past the restrooms.
