Walking Tour of the Necropolis in Glasgow

The Friends of Glasgow Necropolis offer a friendly and informal Walking Tours of the Glasgow Necropolis. Run by their extremely, well-informed, volunteer tour guides who give their time and commitment to share their passion for this outstanding cemetery to the visitors to the Glasgow Necropolis. Their tours are designed to provide us an introduction and overview to the 37 acre (15 hectare) historically significant Victorian Cemetery. Telling the stories of some of the 50,000 people interred within its magnificent gates and their contribution to making Glasgow the second City of the Victorian Empire.

The tours are free. However, donations are hugely welcome, and I'm suggesting an amount of between £5 and £10 from each of us. All donations go entirely towards the conservation and restoration of the Glasgow Necropolis.

There are only 6 spaces available on this date and as spaces are limited, only on receiving your donation will your place be confirmed, so please send your donation at the same time as you RSVP to guarantee your space. Please RSVP by Wednesday, 3rd April 2024, at the latest, to allow me to confirm our booking.
