This month, Jeremy Lindblom will be talking about the best practices of PHP library creation, particularly geared towards open source.

We will talk about some general practices with the code, including adherence to PSR standards. More importantly, we will discuss how to structure the directories in the project and setup GitHub, Composer, PHPUnit, and other code quality tools. Finally, will automate the running of tools with a CI system like TravisCI.

As usual, we will be sharing PHP news, and hosting a raffle for prizes. Stick around afterwards, and we'll walk or drive somewhere, find something to drink, talk shop, and hang out.
