What we're about

We started this group to share our love of trail running with the local running community in and around Phoenix, Arizona. We organize a FREE weekly group trail run at various mountain parks around Phoenix - please see individual meetups for locations. All running abilities welcome. Each run will be about 1 hour long, but we will have three different pace groups based on experience level at our Wednesday evening runs (3.5, 4.5 or 6 miles approx.). We have been averaging 50-100 runner each week. After the run each week, we will have a social get together at a local restaurant/bar near the run. We typically have a group of at least 35 attend dinner/drinks. We will hold a monthly raffle after our Papago Park Group Run with free trail race entries, brewery goodies and other trail running apparel. Aravaipa Group Trail Run at South Mountain Pima Canyon Trailhead

Group run meeting at the Pima Canyon Trailhead at South Mountain followed by a social at Uncle Bear's Brewery! Aravaipa's own John Maroushek will be there with Solomon product demos and an opportunity to take some sweet Solomon shoe models out for a spin as well! Meet at the trailhead at 6:30pm with water and a light. There will be three pace groups so all levels are welcome and encouraged to join. Follow the group after to Uncle Bear's Brewery for more fun with your friends! Uncle Bear's is located at: 4921 E Ray Rd #103 Phoenix, AZ 85044 See you there!

Camelback High School

Looking to increase your speed? Fancy up your footwork? Strengthen your fast twitch muscle response? Then come join us every Friday on the Camelback track at 6pm! Runners of all strengths and endurance are welcome and encouraged to join. Workouts vary from week to week and include mixes of 200m to 2000m sprints. Games and relays are mixed in monthly to keep to workouts challenging and fun! Weekly track workouts such as this are proven to increase your speed not only in shorter races such as the 5k, but longer endurance runs such as the marathon and ultras as well. We guarantee you will leave the track sweaty, exhausted and satisfied once we are done with you!
