About us
Interested in metaphysics? Builders of the Adytum is a teaching and training order in the Western Mystery tradition founded by Paul Foster Case in 1922. BOTA presents the Principles of the Ageless Wisdom through the teachings of the Holy Qabalah (Kabbalah, Cabbala), Tarot, Alchemy, and much more. The Houston BOTA group has been active since the 70's, and meets on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Builders of the Adytum is a non-profit organization, and Houston activities are supported solely by local contributions. Donations are gratefully accepted.
The Open Forum discussion group, the Vibratory Attunement and other public activities are open to all interested adults.
Public activities conclude with fellowship and lunch.

“Hearing is the function assigned to the Hierophant. The Hebrew letter Vau means nail and is also the conjunction “and”. The ornament hanging from the crown of the Hierophant and passing behind his ears is the conventionalized yoke. A yoke is something that joins together, symbolizing union. The Hindu word for union is Yoga.”

Builders of the Adytum (B.O.T.A.) is a Mystery School and training order based on the Western Mystery tradition. Adytum is derived from a Greek word meaning Inner Shrine or Holy of Holies. Like Jesus, who many believe was trained in Qabalah, members of the Order aspire to build the Inner Temple, the Holy of Holies within “built without hands”. People of all faiths are welcome to study the teachings of this Order.
