Guest Speaker, Bacteria-Photos, PCR, and Pizza!

We have a guest speaker, Daisy Patton, and artist at Denver's RedLine gallery joining us to talk about her work experimenting with using bacteria to produce photographs.
After Daisy's presentation we will rev up our new PCR machine and learn the basics of PCR and how to interpret the data. This will be a great introduction to the techniques and tools we will need to use for our iGEM project, so please join us!
Oh yeah, and there will be pizza - some with gluten free crust! :) Feel free to bring other snacks or drinks to share.
