Announcing the 2015 Maker Faire Detroit Build Contest!

What would you build on a 40" X 49" trailer?
Pitch your idea to your TechShop peers on June 25th and you could be selected for the 48-hour Make-a-Thon running at the shop the weekend before Maker Faire Detroit. Six people will be given a trailer and 48 hours to construct their mobile dream project. All projects will be exhibited at Maker Faire Detroit at the TechShop zone where the public will vote for their favorites. Results will be announced at TechShop Detroit's post-Maker Faire open house on Saturday, August 1st.

Prizes include membership and an all-new Build Contest Annual "Cup"—a huge rolling tool chest that could be yours for a year and will feature your engraved name and tribute to your achievement!
