Hi everyone, so it's been a while since we've had an event. Sorry for being AFK ('Away from Keyboard' for you youngsters) for such a long time. Before I get into specifics about the event, let me first welcome the new members on here. You may have joined over a year ago but you're still 'new' to us. Thanks for joining, we love you. Now for the event:
We teamed up with NAU's visual communication department to co-host the event. We actually convinced some orgs (AIGA, Moonshot) into giving us some money, so there will be a brief (we didn't get THAT much money) open bar, or a 'have a drink on us' sort of thing - we'll see how many people are coming.
A note on the future of FTT:
James Madson is taking the lead with FTT, at least until my kids go off to college in 13 years. Going forward we're planning to do more with FTT (and NAU). There's been some discussion around what that could look like: Movie viewings, guest speakers, and obviously we'll continue to do mixers.
