Speaker's Profile
Corey Marsland, Contract Business Analyst at Marsland Consulting
Corey is a seasoned Business Analyst with 20+ years and over 40,000 hours of diverse experience dedicated to this field. He has a portfolio of over 150 completed projects and has established himself as a trusted advisor and strategic partner across many organisations and industries. Corey's business analysis journey began working within Financial Services.

Over the years, Corey has honed his expertise in requirements elicitation, stakeholder management, and solution delivery, earning him a reputation for excellence and reliability with over 15,000 business connections and 70+ recommendations on LinkedIn from business communities. For most of his career, Corey has worked as a contract business analyst with a diverse portfolio of customers, ranging from startups and small businesses to some of the largest companies, employers, and government agencies across both Australia and New Zealand. Those who know him best would say he is simply a Problem Solver with a No Bull Sh*t approach to bringing value to organisations.

Nathan Wallace, Head of IT Operations (Australasia) at Millennium Hotels and Resort
Nathan is currently Head of IT Operations (Australasia) for Millennium Hotels and Resorts. His journey into senior leadership roles started out from being a business analyst which led him on a pathway to building and leading Business Analyst Practices at Downer NZ, KiwiRail, and Westpac. He has experience as a Project and Programme Manager and has worked in various sectors including local and central government, utilities, healthcare, transport, hospitality, and finance just to name a few. He has held both permanent and contract roles.

Nathan is very personable and honest and enjoys getting to know team members better to build and shape high performing teams while at the same time helping those people achieve their goals and aspirations.

Robin Tucker, Business Analysis Manager at Chorus
Robin has a passion for professional Business Analysis with a focus on agile modelling and user centered design. She has over 20 years of experience working as a Business Analyst and developing Business Analyst teams, predominantly in the telecommunications industry. She also has over 10 years IT Consulting experience, designing bespoke software applications for clients in a variety of industries in Australasia and North America. She was a contributor to the first edition of the IIBA BABOK and has focused much of her career on developing Business Analysis capability. Robin currently manages a team of Business Analysts within the Central Technology Office at Chorus NZ.
