Denver Christkindl Market

Let's kick off the holiday season with the 2026 Denver Christkindlmarket! The festival returns to Auraria Campus with more holiday magic than ever before! The Market is bringing fresh sparkle to the season with activations such as a 42 ft carousel, and glass ornament making and glass blowing workshops. With twinkling lights and festive cheer, the Market also brings all your favorite vendors for plenty of holiday shopping!

We'll meet at 4:00pm near the Carousel where we'll make introductions and begin exploring! Look for the small Meetup sign.

My plan is to walk around the booths for a while and end up in the Festival Hall by 5-5:30pm. I hope to find a table to sit and enjoy some food, drink and music by the Thirsty 5, a 5-piece oom-pah band consisting of 2 clarinets, 1 trumpet, 1 trombone and of course a tuba. They start playing traditional German polkas, waltzes and marches, as well as holiday and other types of music at 6pm. Maybe we can dance a polka!

Parking: The Denver Christkindlmarket is held at the Tivoli Quad on the Auraria Campus (1000 Larimer St, Denver, CO 80204). You can park directly in the campus lots and garages or use nearby downtown options. Evening (after 5:00 PM) and weekend rates are generally $25.00 in most areas and $30.00 in the Tivoli Garage, though special event rates may be higher. Take public transportation to avoid higher evening parking rates and full lots! Take the RTD light rail to nearby stations like Union Station, Colfax at Auraria, Ball Arena / Elitch Gardens, or Auraria West Campus.
