What we’re about
Who We Are: We are wine enthusiasts in the central Ohio area. We are called "The Dublin Wine Meetup Group". We are grateful and appreciative of Steve Petrosino, Founder Emeritus, who started the group with a few Dublin locals in November 2006. We now have members all over the city and in surrounding areas all over Ohio.
Join us to meet fellow Wine Enthusiasts near you! We have an even mix of married couples and singles. Anyone who loves wine is welcome to join our group. No invitation needed. Come to one of our local Wine Meetups to taste new wines; learn about attributes of wine; and discuss different vintages and estates. Everyone is welcome, from wine novices to educated connoisseurs (we have an even balance). We have a master sommelier in our group.

See all- 4th Annual - Grand River Valley WeekendNeeds location
We are returning for the 4th Annual Grand River Valley AVA Tour the weekend of Oct. 3rd - 5th. Ohio’s Grand River Valley AVA, established in 1983, is located within the multi-state Lake Erie AVA. GRV consistently has the highest rated wines produced in Ohio. The AVA includes all of the land west of Ohio Route 45 which is within 2 statute miles, in any direction, of the Grand River, and which is also within 14 statute miles inland from any point on the shore of Lake Erie. Grand River Valley proves that Ohio can grow outstanding vintage wines that compare favorably to other famous regions.
We are doing a joint trip with M.A.F.I.A. the first weekend of October (3-5th). Get your hotel, AirBnB or villa now.
The plan is for most to arrive by 6pm on Friday night and enjoy a winery and dinner. We will have dinner at 7pm at at a winery outside of Madison, OH. We start approximately 10am on Saturday for a full day of tours and tasting at GRV wineries, then a dinner with live entertainment. Sunday will be flexible with one winery scheduled after a late breakfast, then venture home.
Hotels: There are limited hotels and they know you are going to the wineries. BOOK EARLY. Consider the Holiday Inn Express, Madison, OH. This is the closest hotel to the juice and provides breakfast each morning. https://www.ihg.com/holidayinnexpress/hotels/us/en/madison/mdisn/hoteldetail
Also consider the Hampton Inn, Madison OH. It gets good reviews and is near the Holiday Inn. https://www.facebook.com/HamptonMadisonOH/ as well as Town Place Hotel in Geneva or the Fairfield in Ashtabula.
Private message me if you have suggestions at to wineries. I will tend to lean towards quality over more flashy, tourist quality wines. We are likely to visit Grand River Valley, M Cellars, Cask 307, Laurentia, Baci, and South River Vineyard.
