Cruise & Brews

Cruise up the Upper Alum Creek on your kayak through the Osprey viewing area, winding your way past the tiny village of Kilbourne, and then landing at Hemmick Farm & Brewery for a lunch on their patio with a wide selection of beers. Chose from their several food trucks.

Don't enjoy too much as we have to paddle, at least downstream, back to our launch site.

We launch a 9:30 from the Howard Road Boat Launch of the Alum Creek State Park. Ample parking and a kayak launch. Kayaks or canoes advised. Recreational paddleboarders might have a tough-time with the distance and speed.

Bring a hat, sunscreen, bug spray, and something to cover up while at Hemmick Farm.
