Grab a drink and get together with fellow NYers to enjoy and laugh at some of the most baffling movies out there! Join us each month as we screen films from all corners of the bad movie spectrum, like cheesy cult classics, weird gems, and the all-important hilariously bad movies!

Bad Movie Night Brooklyn is back at Wild East Brewing for a much requested, late-to-the-party screening of He-Man and Skeletor's first big cinematic outing, 1987's Masters of the Universe!Plot: In the far off land of Eternia, the final battle wages between the mighty He-Man (Dolph Lundgren) and the sinister Skeletor (Acadamey Award nominee Frank Langella). When Skeletor manages to get the upper hand, He-Man and his allies are forced to retreat and escape to a place they know Skeletor won't find them... Los Angeles, Earth! With their portal machine malfunctioning, and Skeletor hot on their trail, He-Man must join forces with orphaned teen Julie (Courtney Cox) and her rock n roll musician boyfriend Kevin, as they avoid the LAPD, create a new portal machine, and take the fight back to Skeletor through the power of rock! Despite budget cuts and a quick and fast production, a variety of fan-favorite characters are here, like Evil-Lynn (Meg Foster), Man-At-Arms, Teela, Beast Man, and the infamous newcomer Gwildor!

Thats right, forget Spider-Man! Forget The Avengers! The year is 1986, and there's only one name on every comic book fan's tongues that summer... Howard the Duck! Famously the movie that George Lucas left Lucasarts to produce, this was Marvel's first foray onto the big screen, and it did VERY little to convince critics that Marvel had any place in the world of movies!
Plot:
It was another bland day for Duckworld resident Howard. That was, until a laser beam smashes through his apartment, and yanks him into space! Now stranded on an alien planet called Earth, Howard has to team up with rockstar Beverly Switzler (Lea Thompson), and scientist Phil Blumburtt (Tim Robbins) to find a way to get back to his home. Meanwhile... it looks like Howard isn't the only thing the laser plucked out of deep space. Jeez... whats a duck gotta do to get a ride home? Come for the hijinx, come for the romance, come for the... Quack-Fu?Doors at 7:30, Movie at 8.
