Grab a drink and get together with fellow NYers to enjoy and laugh at some of the most baffling movies out there! Join us each month as we screen films from all corners of the bad movie spectrum, like cheesy cult classics, weird gems, and the all-important hilariously bad movies!

We're joining forces with Motion Picture Pop Quiz for a hilarious, one-night only, audience-fueled gameshow experience! And what better movie to stump judges and audiences alike than the iconically baffling Rom-Com roadtrip film, Ryan's Babe! Declared "The Best of the Worst" by RedLetter Media, and compared to films like The Room by bad film enthusiasts, Ryan's Babe is an absolute headscratcher, filled with nonsensical plot points, ADR, deus ex machinas that go absolutely nowhere. So kick back, try to follow every bizarre twist and turn, and you might even go home with a prize or two!
Plot:
After being run out of town by the vengeful father of the girl he loves, Ryan discovers that hitting the road won't solve all of his problems, instead its just the beginning! Ryan falls into one circumstantial trouble after another. From getting car-jacked at gun-point, being mistaken for a mobster’s son, to a run-in with cheerleaders intent on vigilante justice, Ryan barely escapes one mess before landing in the middle of another. Finally able to go home, Ryan heads back out on the highway. But has his luck really changed, or is there only more trouble in store for our charming hero?About Motion Picture Pop Quiz:
Motion Picture Pop Quiz is a movie screening party (with a trivia twist!) thats been featured in various NYC bars and movie theaters (such as Nitehawk Cinema) for the past 2 years!
Here's how it work:- Participants will watch Ryan's Babe.
- As it plays, judges will be closely watching the movie and come up with questions on the spot, these question can range from simple to hyper specific.
- At the end of the section, each panelist will present their questions to the audience.
- Answers will be graded on correctness OR creativity, so if you don't know the answer, just make something up
- Points will be converted to entries for a randomized drawing after the film. The more points you have, the more chances you have to get picked!
- So drop in at anytime! It doesn't matter how knowledgable, funny, or attentive you are, anyone can be a winner tonight!
