Diet Sex Cult - Mars Attack & Mars Express

Hey everyone—it's been a while since our last meetup. I’ve been busy with life and trying to be better than I was last year, but I’m excited to get things going again.
To kick things off, we’re doing a sci-fi-themed night with a bit of ambition: two movies with an intermission in between.
The idea this time is two sides of the same coin. Both films are set around Mars (yes, the red planet), but they take very different approaches. One leans into comedy, while the other tells a more serious, thoughtful story.
I guess what I’m getting at is—life can be like that too. Sometimes it’s ridiculous and funny, and sometimes it’s something to take seriously. If I had it my way, though… it’d mostly be the funny kind.
We’ll be watching Mars Express and Mars Attacks!.
