About us
Pickleball, without the trek into the city.
Most of Tokyo's pickleball happens downtown. We're bringing it out west to Hamura, right off the Ome Line and a short drive from Yokota Air Base. Skip the hour-long train ride and come play close to home.
What we're about
- Meeting people. We rotate partners throughout the session, so you'll get to play with everyone.
- Making local friends. Japanese locals, Yokota folks, and everyone in between, all on the same court.
- Having fun and getting a workout. No pressure, no rankings. Just good rallies and a good sweat.
Where we play
Freshland Nishitama, Hamura
- Air-conditioned indoor gym (renovated in 2026)
- Free parking (100+ spaces) and bike parking
- Bus access from Hamura Station or Fussa Station (east exits)
- Hot spring and sauna on-site for a post-game soak (heads-up: tattoos aren't allowed in the baths)
Who should come
- Total beginners. Never picked up a paddle? You're exactly who we're looking for.
- Tennis, badminton, and ping-pong players looking to try something new
- Anyone living around Yokota, the Ome Line, or West Tama
- No Japanese needed. English and Japanese both spoken on court.
See you on the court!
